NEW HEAD COACH

Gary Clark has been named head football coach for the Westlake Thunder.  Coach Clark comes to Westlake with a wealth of knowledge and experience in football.  He has been a teacher and high school coach for over 30 years.  He comes to Westlake via Kealakehe HS, Timpview HS, Leilehua HS and Aiea HS and served as Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator for the Thunder last season.  He has been an influence in many young men's lives who went on to play college and professional football including Coach Walker.  A former player Adrian Murrell (NY Jets,  AZ Cardinals, WA Redskins, Dallas Cowboys) nominated Coach Clark for the NFL High School Coach of the Year award in 1998.
