PINK GAME

Westlake vs Murray tonight 7 pm at Murray High School. 

This is a PINK game dedicated to the Awareness of Breast Cancer and fight for the CURE.  Its traditional that in a PINK game the players get to have some fun and dress up their uniforms by wearing pink... pink socks, pink shoelaces, pink wristbands, pink tape and more.  Yesterday, the boys were priviledged to have a guest speaker share with them the significance of wearing PINK and their part in the BATTLE against breast cancer.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FRESHMAN TEAM!!

COACH WILLIS' REMARKS: "We came from down 21-10 going into the 4th quarter to win 24-21...kids fought hard and never gave up...I am very proud of them!".  They beat Pleasant Grove last Saturday... Way to GO THUNDER!!! 

This week Saturday they are up against American Fork at 1:30 pm on our home turf.  Come out and support our freshman team!!

WESTLAKE FOOTBALL FANS - Our game against Murray is a PINK game to benefit breastcancer awareness and the CURE.  If you would like to order a PINK shirt for the game it is $7 and all proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the CURE. 

We will be taking orders at the game tomorrow night.  If we miss you, please place your order and make your payment at WHS finance office and give them your size (S - 4XL).  Deadline is next Wednesday!!

Our first game in our new region starts this week against Olympus... remember the game is being played at Cottonwood HS field.  See event map for directions...

INDIVIDUAL PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN STARTING AT 2:30 pm. ON ASSIGNED DAYS.

ALL PLAYERS should be on the main football field ready for their individuals shots at 2:30 SHARP!!!  Team pictures will be taken around 3:45 when coaches arrive.  Individual pictures  WILL NOT be taken after COACHES arrive.

Order forms will be given DIRECTLY to the players with a PROOF of the picture.

LEIS FOR HOMECOMING

The Booster Club is offering all parents the opportunity to purchase leis for your son/player/coach for the Homecoming and Senior Night games.  Preordered leis will be flown in from Hawaii for these games and will be available for $10.00 each.  You will pick up your leis before each of these games at the Booster Booth. 

Homecoming Game (Hillcrest 9/23):
Orders will be taken at the school finance office during normal business hours and between 5:30 - 6:30 pm before the Northridge game for homecoming.  Deadline is Monday, Sept. 12th for homecoming. 

Senior Night (Herriman 10/14):
Orders will be taken at the school office during normal business hours and between 5:30 - 6:30 pm at Hillcrest game for Senior Night.  Deadline is September 29th for Senior Night.
