Stephen Robert Lifferth is the 4th child of David and Mary Lifferth. He has 3 brothers and 1 sister. He loves animals of all kinds and is always bringing another pet home. He is very independent and as early as he began to talk he has always wanted to “do things by himself”.  He has natural athletic skills and is an accomplished soccer player. He began playing soccer when he was 4 and frequently played with his older brothers teams. He has represented Utah State in the Olympic Development Program and scored several goals for the state of Utah against other states. His accuracy and range allowed him to take the Free Kicks and Penalty Kicks for the Utah team. He was twice invited to ODP Region IV camp representing the State of Utah. He led his Arsenal Soccer Team to the state championship game.  He had never played football until he was asked to kick as a sophomore in High School.  He didn’t know the rules or the football jargon but soon loved to play football. He attended Louisiana State University (LSU) kicker camp in 2011 and would like to play Division I football next year. He has made a 60 yard field goal in warm ups and regularly is able to make 55 yard field goals.

Daniel (Nugent) has been playing "sports" since he was about 6 months. His dad would throw the toy all up in the air and then hold Daniel's hands to catch the ball. It was love at first catch for Daniel. He made his baseball debut at the age of 4. At an early age Daniel was exposed to playing lots of different sports such as soccer, baseball &basketball. He had a passion for baseball from the very beginning. It was the passion and drive that led his little league coach insisting that Daniel play on his youth football team. This is the coach that gave him his nickname NuNu which he still goes by til this day. He took to football immediately. The first 3 years he was 1 of 3 players allowed to play both ways. We moved to Utah at the end of his 6th grade year. Derek drove past a football practice in Saratoga around playoff time. He was immediately invited to play wth the Jaguars which included some of our Westlake alumni such as Taylor Riding, Addison Bates, Spencer Brown, and Kaden Dorch. He has been playing multiple sports with them ever since. He has lettered on the varsity team since his freshman year and is a team captain his senior year. We are proud of him and all the hard work he has put in to achieving his goals and accomplishments. We love you NuNu!
Can you guess who this baby is????? It's John Heuser!!!
Tyler (Diaz) was born on September 1st in American Fork Utah. He has 3 sisters: Nichole, Alyssa, and Ashlee, and one brother: Brandon. Tyler was born an athlete. Any sport he tries, he dominates. But his two favorites are football and track and he hopes to continue on in one of the two in college. He takes his sports very seriously so heaven forbid he have a bad game or meet. When that happens everyone knows to steer clear of him for a minimum of 24 hours. But there's more to the kid then all sports all the time, he loves going out with friends and doing anything outside from hikes to playing volleyball. He also thinks he's a world class comedian. Seldom can you ever catch him giving a serious response. He's always cracking jokes and being sarcastic. Tyler just has one of those one of a kind personalities and you can't help but like him. Everyone thinks his best friend is Austin, but truth be told it's actually his big sister Alyssa. Those two are so close they should have been twins. Tyler is also very smart and even though he procrastinates everything he always pulls out the good grades in the end! We're so proud of him and everything he has accomplished and I'm proud to call him my brother! Love you Ty!
Austin Fotheringham was born in American Fork on March 1st, and instantly became the center of his parent's lives. He has seven younger brothers and sisters, and numerous grandparents who adore him. He has been playing any and all sports since the moment that he could walk, but football has always held a special role in his life. Growing up he would choose to be a football player for almost every Halloween! When he isn't on the field he enjoys learning about history, traveling, spending time with friends, and thinking about the next time he will be on the field. He hopes to be able to continue playing football in college. In the meantime he is becoming quite the smoothie maker! We love you Austin, and look forward to all the great things that your future holds!

You may think you’re seeing double when you first meet Mason (Baumer).  He has a twin brother, William, with whom they have played many tricks on friends and teachers as to who they are talking with. Mason has been playing football ever since he was 5 years old.  His favorite professional team is the Detroit Lions.  He also loves the University of Michigan- Go Blue!  He has also played soccer and has wrestled. He loves all kinds of dogs.  He said one day he would like to have a bull terrier.   Mason strengths are his sense of humor and compassion.  His weakness to resist wrestling with his (2) brothers, Tim and William, is low.  After high school, Mason would like to pursue a career as a veterinarian or DNR officer.  Your family is proud of you Mason!

Nathan (Mitchell) has always been adventurous!  He has always been athletic and had a love for all kinds of sports.  This is his first year playing football on an organized team, and his fourth year doing Track.  He has pushed himself to improve.  He loves the outdoors:  camping, hiking, climbing, fishing, anything!!  And he is fearless!  He sees a tall tree, or a rock face and thinks, "I want to see what is at the top" and then he goes for it.  He was so excited to be the first Freshman class at Westlake High School, and has had a great experience here.  The teachers and administration have helped him accomplish his goals in education and is planning on attending college.  He earned his Eagle, and has loved Seminary.  He is planning on serving a mission after Graduation.

Our family loves to laugh, and he and his brothers have a great sense of humor!  When we asked Jeremy what he would say about Nathan, he said he is a great leader.  When we asked Tyler what he would say, he said he is not afraid to be himself.  They both said he has smooth dance moves!!  We witnessed this at the Powder Puff football game when he was a cheerleader and flyer for the evening!  As parents, we would say we are so grateful that he is our son, proud of what he has accomplished, and we love him so much!

Our Son Zach Tyson is excited to be part of Westlake's football program!  He loves Westlake and loves the extra-curricular activities the school offers, especially the ones he has been part of. Zach has also worked hard throughout school to maintain a high GPA.His motto has been, Speak Little, Do much. He enjoys sports, music, friends, and the Friday Night Lights!  He is grateful for great coaches, teachers and administration who have inspired him throughout his life. He is excited to be a senior and is thankful to be part of an awesome 2013  class! We love you Zach! You make us smile everyday. Thank you for setting the bar high for our family! You have so many great things ahead of you! Enjoy every minute of being a senior!
River Sanderson received his awesome and unique name by his crazy mother. He is number 23 on the Westlake Varsity Football team. He  plays Wide Receiver. Riv has loved sports from the time he could crawl. He loves to play sports, watch sports, talk about sports, and think about sports. Of course, he especially enjoys football and basketball. He loves attending Westlake High School and being involved. When he is not playing high school sports, he spends his spare time in the outdoors hunting and fishing with his dad, grandpa, and cousin. Riv has always been a great student and leader. We are so proud of the wonderful young man he has become, although it is hard to believe, he is a Senior already!  It goes way too fast.  After graduation, River plans to attend college and serve an LDS Mission.

Dylan Tyler Burningham was born August 21st, 1995 at 8:05am. My life changed forever!!!!

Since that day Dylan has made me laugh, cry and one time about made me pass out during a trip to the ER.
One of Dylan's greatest passions in life is football. He has played ever since he was a Gremlin at Judge.
He played 2 years as a Gremlin and he kept going. He played for Alta too. We moved to Eagle Mountain
and life just got better.

I am so proud of the man Dylan has become, he is thoughtful, loving and extremely funny. He had to be the
"Man of the House" for several years until I re-married, he took that job serious. I couldn't ask for a better
son, they don't get better than him.

Dylan I love you with all my heart...

Love
Mom

Ivan Theodore Mardesich! Ivan has had a love for football since the fourth grade. Through the struggles of discovering his seizure challenges, being told he could never play again, to be able to play was a great thing for Ivan. Football has been a great learning experience for Ivan. He has been able to be coached by the best. He may have started as a pioneer, but finished as a mighty THUNDER! We love you a Ivan and we are soooooo proud of you! Mom & Dad.
Kaden Daley is the oldest of 3 kids, he has 1 brother and 1 sister. Kade has played football since the 5th grade and LOVES the sport. He also participates in wrestling and track. He enjoys these sports as well, but mostly uses them to improve his football skills. Kade is a great leader and has enjoyed being a captain of the football team this year, of the wrestling team the past 2 years, and of boom squad last year. Kade has enjoyed being the athletic representative for student council this year. Kade is a hard worker and gives it his all when he commits to something. Kade has been a great example to his younger siblings and his parents through out his life, and we are so happy to have him as part of our family. We are very proud of Kade and have enjoyed watching him play sports, learn and grow. Although time went by too fast, and we can't believe our baby is graduating high school, we are excited for Kade's future.

Erik Petersen in the second oldest of five children.  He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  Erik was born in Idaho Falls, ID and when he was 10 years old we moved to Eagle Mountain.  Has always been a very active person and played baseball, basketball, soccer and football since he was very young.  Over those years he developed a greater love for baseball and especially football.  He has played for Westlake baseball since 9th grade and has been playing for Westlake football since the 8th grade (before we even knew the name of the school).  He always tries hard in all of the sports that he participates in and has definitely grown over the years as he has progressed.  He takes pride in the speed he has developed - especially since he can easily beat his Dad in a foot race.

Erik is a great brother to his siblings and is always looking out for their best interests.  This comes in very handy with his sister being a Sophomore at Westlake this year.  He tries hard at all he does.  He took piano lessons and became quite accomplished at it.  He also earned his Eagle Scout award when he was 15.  He is a great asset to his family and is a joy to be around.  Anyone who know him can attest to how easily a smile comes to him - which is great as it shows the dimples that have been captivating girls since he was very young.  :)
